Florida State Road 712 : ウィキペディア英語版 | Florida State Road 712
Locally known as Midway Road (which itself was originally called Silver City Road), the former State Road 712 (now County Road 712) is a 14-mile-long east–west highway serving southern St. Lucie County, Florida. The western terminus of the former State Road is an intersection with Okeechobee Road (SR 70) west of Port St. Lucie; the terminus of CR 712 is an intersection with Indian River Drive (CR 707) on the edge of the Indian River near Eldred. In addition to the communities on and near the termini of CR 712, the former State Road serves Collins Park Estates, Indian River Estates and White City. ==History== Midway Road was one of the first of a collection of State Roads in southern Florida that was transferred back to county control and maintenance in the late 1970s to mid-1980s. Since then, the growing population of Port St. Lucie has resulted in increased urbanization along much of the route.
